Like last week, this week is not all about the Champions League action.
The Europa League takes centre stage on Thursday evening as we reach the finales of the play-off round.
Eight teams will progress to the last 16 of the competition, while the other eight will suffer elimination.

Anderlecht vs Fenerbahce: Draw @ 3.45
Anderlecht’s fate in this season’s Europa League is virtually sealed after a demoralising 3-0 defeat in Istanbul last week. Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce side were simply too strong on home soil and the Belgian outfit now have a mountain to climb. Motivation levels in the Anderlecht camp will be low, while Thursday’s visitors will barely have to break sweat to reach the last 16. David Hubert’s men will want to salvage some pride, but their inferior quality suggests the best they can hope for is a draw.
Roma to beat Porto @ 1.76
Perhaps the standout tie of the Europa League play-off round and one that is still in the balance. A 1-1 draw in Porto means anything could happen at the Stadio Olimpico, although home advantage could play its part. Roma have won back-to-back away games in Serie and look to be showing signs of improvement. Porto boast only two wins from the last six across all competitions and with the pressure levels at an all-time high, one of Portugal’s finest may be forced to bow out of European competition earlier than previously hoped.
Twente to beat Bodo/Glimt @ 3.35
Bodo/Glimt have established themselves as a bit of a European force in recent years, but they are slightly hampered by a lack of competitive action. The Norwegian football season ended at the start of December and this absence of top-flight football in recent months is why we are siding with an up-to-speed Twente side – who are already 2-1 up in the tie. Bodo/Glimt finished 9th in the League Phase and elimination at this stage would be really hard to take.
Viktoria Plzen to beat Ferencvaros @ 1.62
Ferencvaros’ 1-0 first-leg victory was a bit of a shock given their recent form. The Hungarian side are four without a win in their domestic league and have lost the last two, including a 2-0 home defeat to Paks on the weekend. So Viktoria Plzen should be far too strong on home soil in the second leg, especially as they suffered only one defeat on their own patch in the League Phase (1-2 vs Manchester United). Fernencvaros won just one away game in the opening round too, and infamously lost 5-0 at PAOK on Matchday 6.
