As Roma vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Draw @ 3.65
Eintracht have been one of the standout performers in the Europa League, sitting 2nd with five wins in seven. Their place in the Top 8 is virtually secured, but they will still want to give a good account of themselves in Italy. Roma are 21st and fighting to stay in the play-offs, which sets us up for a cracking match at the Stadio Olimpico. With the quality possessed by both sides, even though Frankfurt are now without talented forward Omar Marmoush, we can see the points being shared.
FCSB vs Manchester United: Draw @ 4.00
Backing two draws? It is a brave move, but the odds just look so good! United are on a run of four consecutive victories in the Europa League, having beat Rangers 2-1 on Matchday 7. However, FCSB are a very strong side on home soil and the Romanians sit 8th with only one defeat to their name. If the Red Devils want to win, they will have to be at their best and even then, it might not be enough for three points, hence why we are opting for the draw.
Real Socidedad to beat PAOK @ 1.54
Real Sociedad have been a mixed bag in this season’s Europa League, winning three matches but also losing the same number. A place in the Top 8 is out of the question, although they need to consolidate a play-off spot when PAOK come to town. The Greek side are one place above the Spaniards in 17th, having won three matches on the spin. However, home advantage, combined with the added pressure of qualification, should see Sociedad claim a crucial win on Matchday 8.
Braga to beat Lazio @ 1.64
It may seem odd that we are not backing the Europa League table-toppers. But with 19 points on the board and a goal difference which is +7 more than the only teams that can catch them (Frankfurt and Athletic Bilbao), Lazio are virtually guaranteed top spot and therefore may opt to field a second-string team in Portugal. This is why they are priced as high as 4.50 to claim an away win. Of course, it will be welcome news for Braga, who are 27th and in need of the victory to be in the mix for the play-offs.
