Tonight is a season-defining match for Tottenham and their manager Ange Postecoglou.
With even a top-half finish in the Premier League looking unlikely, anything but success in the Europa League will almost certainly spell the end of the Aussie coach’s reign in North London.
But in Eintracht, the English side face a formidable opponent, one who triumphed in this competition less than three years ago.

Tottenham vs Eintracht Frankfurt Preview
Spurs’ recent form has been pretty woeful, with only two victories from the last eight matches across all competitions.
Of course, they did record a success last weekend by beating Southampton 3-1, with Brennan Johnson netting a brace.
Postecoglou’s side also won their previous home Europa League match, defeating AZ Alkmaar 3-1 to reach this stage of the competition.
And the hosts will take some comfort from Eintracht’s recent inconsistency. Either side of back-to-back Bundesliga wins, Dino Toppmoller’s side suffered damaging losses to Union Berlin and – most recently – Werder Bremen.
Prior to that, they were thrashed by Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, conceding four goals in each of those matches.
But their performance in the last 16 of the Europa League was stellar and a reminder that Spurs face a very tough task to reach the semi-finals.
Eintracht beat Dutch giants Ajax 6-2 on aggregate, winning the home leg 4-1 in a result which left the average football fan a little bit shocked.
A similar performance in either match against a Spurs side unable to defend and lacking confidence would likely be enough to secure passage to the final four.
What a tie we have in prospect!
Tottenham vs Eintracht Frankfurt Odds

Tottenham vs Eintracht Frankfurt Betting Tips
Mario Gotze to score anytime @ 6.50
Okay, this is a bold shout, but Gotze looks to be rediscovering his best form. The ex-Bayern playmaker scored twice in the 4-1 win over Ajax and he can target a Spurs back-line which appears to be immune to clean sheets.
Tottenham to win from behind @ 7.50
Eintracht will not be lacking confidence when they visit North London and it would not be a surprise to see them take the lead. But in the end, we are backing Spurs’ higher player quality to shine through.
Both teams to score and no draw – Yes @ 2.10
This is a far-less risky market than the one above and a great option. Both teams have attacking talent in abundance and we can see goals aplenty at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!
