Kasper Hogh to score for Bodo/Glimt vs Lazio @ 4.40
Bodo/Glimt star Hogh is the joint-top scorer in this edition of the Europa League with seven goals. He was not on the scoresheet in the first leg against Lazio, but did score in both matches against Olympiacos in the last 16. The Danish forward should be afforded plenty of space on the counter at the Stadio Olimpico, with Lazio in need of two goals to at least level the tie. And we are backing him to take one of his chances.
Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Tottenham and both teams to score @ 3.90
Spurs’ preparation for the second leg could not have been any worse. After drawing 1-1 with Eintracht at home, Ange Postecoglou’s side lost 4-2 at Wolves, their 17th loss of the Premier League season. In contrast, Eintracht beat Heidenheim 3-0 in the Bundesliga on the weekend and it is no surprise that they are the pre-match favourites here. We are backing the German side to eventually claim the win, although wagering on Spurs to also score is a sensible course of action. After all, they are the third-highest scorers in the Premier League, despite sitting 15th.
Rayan Cherki to score for Lyon vs Manchester United @ 4.00
Cherki’s dramatic late equaliser last week has set this tie up perfectly. The young French star was the first to react to an Andre Onana error and he tapped home to spark scenes of pandemonium in Lyon. Cherki has scored in each of his side’s last three matches, including the 3-1 win at Auxerre on the weekend. United are fresh from a 4-1 loss at Newcastle and their obvious defensive issues can help Cherki continue his fantastic run in front of goal.
Athletic Bilbao to score over 2.5 goals vs Rangers @ 2.45
Rangers were defensively strong in the first leg, keeping Athletic’s stellar attack at bay despite having to play with 10 men from the 13th minute onwards. Can they repeat that performance in the second leg? We doubt it. Athletic have not lost on home soil since January 16 and are capable of scoring goals aplenty in front of their fans, evidenced by a 7-1 victory over Valladolid in February. If the hosts score early, it could be a long night for the Scottish side.
