ATP London Men’s Singles Quarter-finals Preview
Carlos Alcaraz will be the centre of attention. Champion in 2023 and currently world number two, the Spaniard enters as the clear favourite. He’s looked sharp so far and sees this tournament as an ideal warm-up for Wimbledon. However, he’ll first need to get past Arthur Rinderknech, the last Frenchman standing and who will be aiming to spring a surprise on London’s grass.
Jack Draper, world number six, will enjoy home-court advantage as he faces Brandon Nakashima. The Brit was pushed to the limit by Popyrin in the previous round (3-6, 6-2, 7-6), but remains one of the tournament’s top contenders. If he can maintain his level, a thrilling all-British semi-final could be on the cards.
His compatriot Jacob Fearnley continues his dream run after defeating France’s Corentin Moutet (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) – the same Moutet who stunned world number four Taylor Fritz in the opening round. Fearnley now faces Jiri Lehecka, who has quietly impressed, delivering a dominant win over Gabriel Diallo (6-4, 6-2). The Czech could be a serious threat in the later stages.
Lastly, Roberto Bautista Agut will take on Holger Rune in a clash of styles and generations. At 22, Rune – ranked ninth in the world – has shown remarkable maturity and is eyeing a place in the final. But the seasoned Spaniard won’t go down easily, relying on his experience and tactical nous to counter Rune’s aggressive game.
ATP London Men’s Singles Quarter-finals: Sports Betting Tips
Carlos Alcaraz vs Arthur Rindernek – Player 2 to win a set @ 3.05
Arthur Rinderknech knows he’s in for a tough match. Facing Carlos Alcaraz, the Frenchman has nothing to lose and could aim for a set, especially as the Spaniard already dropped a set to Munar in the previous round. This is an opportunity to exploit if he hopes to unsettle the favourite.
Roberto Bautista Agut vs Holger Rune – Set bet (3 sets) 2-0 @ 2.01
The 22-year-old Dane, ranked No. 9 in the world, is on the rise. Bautista Agut is experienced, but Rune has the potential and precision to dominate. Rune’s victory in two sets also benefits from boosted odds. Go for it!
Brandon Nakashima vs Jack Draper – Set bet 1-2 @ 3.55
Playing at home, Draper has strong support and a solid track record on grass (titles in Stuttgart and Vienna and Challenger finals). Nakashima is crafty and fast, but Draper has the psychological advantage. It’s expected to be a close match – a three-set victory for the Englishman seems like a good option.
Jiri Lehecka vs Jacob Fearnley – Lehecka to win @ 1.46
The Czech faces a highly motivated but very inconsistent opponent. His match against Diallo (6-4, 6-2) showed remarkable confidence and control.
