Tonight, we will learn which Milan club progresses to the 2024-25 Coppa Italia final to play either Bologna or Empoli.

Inter vs AC Milan Preview

Hakan Calhanoglu’s equaliser after Tammy Abraham’s first-leg opener has set this fixture up perfectly.

Since that match, Inter have been the busier of the two, with Simone Inzaghi’s side playing five games thanks to their participation in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri beat Bayern 4-3 on aggregate to reach the semi-finals, though their form in Serie A has been patchy at best of late.

A 2-2 draw against Parma was followed by a 3-1 victory over Cagliari, but the 1-0 loss at Bologna on the weekend has blown the title race wide open.

Milan lost 1-0 to Atalanta last Sunday, however, their last away outing saw them thrash Udinese 4-0 in a dominant display.

The Rosoneri’s season effectively rests on the Coppa Italia, given they are ninth in Serie A and six points off even the Europa Conference League qualification spot.

And surprisingly, Milan’s recent record against their fierce rivals is fairly good. Sergio Conceicao’s side are unbeaten in four against Inter with two wins on the board – including a 2-1 win in September when operating as the designated ‘away’ side at San Siro.

With Inter perhaps having one eye on next week’s Champions League contest against Barcelona, Milan’s array of talented attackers can give their fans something to shout about.

Inzaghi’s world-renowned defence has been fairly porous of late, too. In fact, Inter have not kept a clean sheet in their last seven matches across all competitions!

Inter vs AC Milan Odds

*All odds are subject to change

Inter are the favourites to win in 90 minutes at 2.20, while the Nerazzurri are 1.50 to qualify. A Milan win in regulation time is priced at 3.45, while the Rossoneri are 2.60 to qualify. A draw after 90 minutes, which would send us to extra-time and perhaps penalties, is 3.60.

Inter vs AC Milan Betting Tips

Tammy Abraham to score anytime @ 3.90

With Inter’s defensive skills waning somewhat, the Coppa Italia’s top scorer can add to his tally. Abraham’s goal in the first leg took him to four in this season’s competition. The Englishman also scored a dramatic late winner against Inzaghi’s side in January’s Supercoppa Italiana final.

Over 4.5 cards @ 2.05

Surprisingly, the first leg saw only four yellow cards brandished by the referee, which is a fairly low number for one of the world’s fieriest sporting rivalries. But with the added pressure that comes with any second leg, we expect that number to increase to at least five.

AC Milan to win from behind @ 14.00

Okay, this might seem a rogue shout at first glance, but hear us out. The last time these two sides met in a match with so much on the line, the aforementioned Supercoppa Italiana final, Milan came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Can lightning strike twice?
