Paris Saint-Germain face Brazilian side Botafogo at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on the second matchday of the Club World Cup and are looking to build on their impressive 4-0 victory over Atlético Madrid in their opening match.

Botafogo vs PSG: Match preview
We knew they were strong. They almost seem unbeatable. Against a toothless Atletico side, the Parisians once again showed the full extent of their talent. Without ever looking like they were trying too hard, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates played their usual game in a one-sided match, similar to the last Champions League final against Inter Milan (5-0), where the opposing team was virtually non-existent.
Now it’s time to prove themselves further. PSG now face Botafogo, who beat Seattle FC 2-1 on the first matchday. However, the Brazilians showed some weaknesses in all areas of the game against a relatively weak opponent, particularly in the second half and when they were out of possession. And given how much Vitinha and his teammates love to keep the ball, Botafogo are likely to suffer in this match.
However, the club led by American John Textor knows it has nothing to lose. It showed great character against Seattle and will no doubt be fired up when it faces the European champions.

After failing to score against Atletico, the young French striker could find his range and open his account against the South Americans, who have shown themselves to be quite generous at the back.
