This selection also plays into the idea that Portugal will win in Munich, though it also allows for the hosts to have a major say themselves, thus removing a certain amount of jeopardy. Portugal possess some of the most potent attacking weapons in the world, namely record scorer Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes. Martinez’s side have scored 11 goals in their previous four matches, including a 5-2 thrashing of Denmark in the return leg of the aforementioned quarter-final.
Spain to beat France @ 2.45
It is hard to separate Spain and France in terms of match result odds, with Les Bleus priced at 2.95 to win in Stuttgart. Like Portugal, France could be missing some key players due to last Saturday’s Champions League Final, namely Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola. As such, we fancy Spain to emulate their Euro 2024 semi-final success over Kylian Mbappe and his team-mates. And with Lamine Yamal in stunning form, this could be a match to remember!
Spain vs France: Over 2.5 goals in the match @ 2.30
As we just mentioned, this has all the ingredients for an epic contest, with world-class players in both camps. Mbappe and Yamal are two of the best players on the planet right now and those two by themselves could rack up over 2.5 goals combined in the match. So we are a little puzzled as to why the odds are so good in this market, especially as the Euro 2024 semi-final clash finished 2-1 to Spain, which would have seen this selection come in! La Roja have scored eight goals in their previous three matches, with France netting four in the same timeframe.
