And the two men in the spotlight will be managers Enzo Maresca and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Will it be a goal-fest or a tactical chess match at Old Trafford? Whichever way it goes, we cannot wait to see it.

Manchester United vs Chelsea Preview

Hosts United are still in shock, reeling from the midweek sacking of manager Erik Ten Hag. But with club legend Van Nistelrooy at the helm already with a 5-2 win over Leicester under his belt, maybe fans of the Red Devils will be feeling more positive.

Especially when coupled with the news that United have seemingly secured the services of Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim, who will take over the club at an as of yet undetermined date.

But for now, Premier League wins are the main focus and they cannot afford to wait for their new appointment to start the turnaround of their season.

Widely criticised so far, United need a shift in both attitude and quality on the pitch, with key players not yet finding form. But with an extremely talented squad, including several summer additions, surely things have to get better soon.

Chelsea, however, have started the season in a much better way than expected. Sitting fifth with five wins from nine, it seems Enzo Maresca has managed to tap into the vast potential of the expensive squad and turn the Blues into serious challengers once again.

Again powered by star man Cole Palmer, things are clicking on the pitch. Chelsea are playing some exciting football and scoring freely, in part down to Nicolas Jackson, who after criticism in the summer has silenced doubters by netting six goals already this season.

New signings Pedro Neto and Joao Felix also seem to be settling in well, adding to a seemingly cohesive Chelsea unit.

Goals Goals Goals

Due to the incredible scoring form of Chelsea’s dynamic front line, and the unpredictable nature of United’s recent performances, goals are to be expected. Over 3.5 in the game is at 2.15.

Jackson Man

As Chelsea’s second-top scorer and determined to prove cynics wrong, Jackson is a man to keep your eye on. He is currently at 2.75 to score anytime and 7.00 to score first.

Viva Garnacho

United’s man in form at the moment seems to be Alejandro Garnacho, who netted again midweek. He has odds of 3.20 to score anytime and 8.50 to be the game’s first goalscorer.
