Anderlecht vs Union Saint-Gilloise: Under 1.5 goals @ 3.60

Before a ball was kicked in the Championship Round, few would have predicted USG to be sitting at the top of the table with three matches left to play. But that is the case and if the team from Brussels win their remaining matches, they will be crowned champions. Up first is a trip to Anderlecht, who were beaten 2-1 by Club Brugge in last weekend’s Croky Cup final. USG are, of course, the pre-match favourites, although we believe there is more value in backing a low-scoring match. USG’s last three games have featured under 1.5 goals, a case in point that a strong defence is crucial for a title-winning side.

Club Brugge to beat Genk @ 2.20

Club Brugge are the only team who can realistically catch USG, given Genk are now six points behind the leaders. Nicky Hayen’s side are just a point off USG and know they cannot afford a single slip up in the run in. And while Genk remain a strong team on paper, Club Brugge should still fancy themselves to achieve a comfortable victory. Genk are winless in five Pro League matches and the last time out in front of their fans, Thorsten Fink’s side were beaten 1-0 by Royal Antwerp. Cegeka Arena was once a fortress in the 2024-25 edition of the Pro League, but not anymore!

Gent vs Royal Antwerp: Gent Draw No Bet @ 1.90

Gent will be eager to bounce back from the 4-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Club Brugge on Matchday 7 when they host Antwerp. Andries Uldernik’s side have won just one play-off match thus far, the aforementioned victory at Genk. So there is hope for Gent in this contest, although we are wary of fully backing them to pick up all three points. As such, we are opting for the ‘Draw No Bet’ market, which will see your stake returned if the match finishes as a draw. Gent beat Antwerp 1-0 in the reverse play-off fixture, while the two sides drew 1-1 when this exact match was played in the regular season.

Mechelen to beat Standard Liege @ 1.86

The less said about Standard’s play-off campaign, the better. The side from Liege are yet to claim a victory in seven attempts, drawing four matches and losing the other three. Mechelen can still mathematically catch Charleroi in the second section of the play-offs and after last weekend’s 2-1 win at Leuven, confidence levels in the camp should be high. The match in Liege between these two sides finished 2-2, but we are backing Mechelen to pick up the win on home soil.
