Cercle Brugge vs OH Leuven: Draw @ 3.60
Cercle Brugge, coming off a 2-1 defeat to La Louvière, have struggled this season and currently sit near the bottom of the table, despite showing flashes of quality. Leuven, meanwhile, have also had a mixed campaign but tend to be more solid away from home.
With both teams level on points and showing similar inconsistency, a draw appears to be the most reasonable outcome in this evenly balanced contest.
Anderlecht vs Club Brugge: Carlos Forbs to score anytime @ 4.50
This is the big one in Belgium — the country’s most famous rivalry. Anderlecht host Club Brugge in what promises to be a spectacular encounter. The Mauves have been in great domestic form, driven by a creative midfield and an aggressive pressing game.
Club Brugge, on the other hand, are brimming with confidence after a thrilling 3-3 draw against FC Barcelona in Europe. Winger Carlos Forbs, who scored twice in that match, has the pace and flair to unsettle the Anderlecht defence. Backing him to find the net again could be a smart move.
Gent vs Racing Genk: Over 3.5 goals @ 2.60
Two of the league’s most dangerous attacking sides meet here. Gent, led by dynamic players such as Omri Gandelman, have already scored over 25 goals this season thanks to their bold, attacking style.
Racing Genk, meanwhile, are starting to rediscover their offensive rhythm after a rough patch, with Heymans and Ho in fine form. Both teams tend to leave space at the back, which should make for an open, goal-filled match.
Expect entertainment and plenty of chances at both ends.
KV Mechelen vs Union Saint-Gilloise: Draw @ 4.30
Union Saint-Gilloise continue to lead the league but are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. The Brussels side have shown signs of fatigue lately, especially against compact, disciplined opponents.
KV Mechelen, strong at home, have a knack for frustrating the top clubs with a tight defensive block and lethal set-piece efficiency. While Union remain favourites on paper, they often struggle to impose their tempo away from home.
A draw could well be on the cards here — especially if Mechelen manage to open the scoring.
