The Formula 1 season continues this weekend with the Grand Prix at Monza, Italy.
All eyes will be on Lando Norris, who was forced to retire from the last race in the Netherlands, allowing his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri to take the win.

Italian Grand Prix 2025 Preview
The aforementioned victory in Zandvoort at the Dutch GP strengthened Piastri’s grip on the championship lead, as he now sits 34 points clear of Norris in the overall standings.
But in Italy, Ferrari will be under the spotlight and hoping to repeat last year’s success, when Charles Leclerc came out on top.
This season, however, McLaren look untouchable, while Ferrari continue to struggle. In the Netherlands, Lewis Hamilton crashed out and Leclerc was also forced to retire after a collision with Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen seems to be back in form. He capitalized on Norris’ retirement last weekend to grab second place and arrives in Italy full of confidence. Isack Hadjar caused a stir by finishing third in Zandvoort, and will be another name to watch in Monza.

Piastri is the man in form right now, and McLaren clearly have the best cars on the European circuits. With five wins in the last six races for the British manufacturer, their Australian driver is the clear favourite at Monza. Norris will be eager to bounce back, but the momentum is firmly with team-mate Piastri. Backing the Australian for yet another victory remains the safest bet this weekend.

Ferrari will be desperate to avoid another disaster, especially on home soil. Hamilton has been handed a five-place grid penalty for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, which could affect his final position.
