Nottingham Forest to beat West Ham @ 2.20

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Forest side have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season.

The Tricky Trees go into the weekend seventh in the table with four wins and four draws from nine matches.

Striker Chris Wood has been in sublime form too with seven goals to his name, making him the division’s third-top scorer.

So all the signs point towards a Forest victory over a stuttering West Ham side who are yet to settle under the leadership of Julen Lopetegui.

The Hammers beat a disjointed Manchester United 2-1 in their last outing, but a lack of cohesion and consistency should play into Forest’s hands this weekend.

Sevilla to beat Real Sociedad @ 3.10

This is an intriguing match between two of La Liga’s biggest sides, each of whom are struggling to portray the best version of themselves on a consistent basis this season.

Sevilla sit 10th in the table but are at least fresh from a vital 2-0 away win against Espanyol.

Garcia Pimienta’s side have also won their last three home league matches, including a 1-0 triumph over fierce local rivals Real Betis.

As for Real Sociedad, they are two places below Sevilla with only three wins from 11 matches, although those victories have been recorded in their last four outings.

However, we think hosts Sevilla will still be able to deliver the knockout blow on Sunday afternoon thanks to the aforementioned recent home record, with exciting forward Dodi Lukebakio looking to add to his tally of five La Liga goals.

RB Leipzig to beat Borussia Dortmund @ 2.95

The biggest match in the Bundesliga this weekend sees second-placed RB Leipzig travel to Borussia Dortmund.

Like table-toppers Bayern Munich, Leipzig are unbeaten in the German top flight in 2024-25 and have conceded a division low of three goals.

Dortmund, on the other hand, are looking a bit suspect under the guidance of Nuri Sahin, with only four victories in eight and a leaky defence which has already shipped 14 goals.

Up against a star-studded Leipzig attack featuring Benjamin Sesko and Lois Openda, Dortmund may find the going very tough indeed.

And the 2-1 loss to Augbsurg last weekend will surely be weighing on the mind of Sahin’s players, while Leipzig’s stars should be riding the crest of a wave after their 3-1 victory over Freiburg.

Lille to beat Lyon @ 2.15

Another meeting between two famous European clubs sees Lyon visit Lille.

Hosts Lille are unbeaten in five top-flight matches, with talisman Jonathan David already on six goals for the campaign.

Lyon have enjoyed a better start to this season than last but they are still nowhere near the force of previous years.

A run of four games unbeaten in Ligue 1 for Lyon makes the clash slightly harder to call, but we are siding with Lille on home soil.
