While the Nations League is perhaps the headline act of this month’s international break, do not forget about the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Places at next year’s tournament in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico are up for grabs.
Of course, some of the big teams are not partaking in the qualifiers this month due to the aforementioned Nations League, but there are still some great fixtures to get our teeth stuck into.

England to score over 2.5 goals vs Albania @ 1.90
The first game of the Thomas Tuchel era sees England host Albania at Wembley. It is a match the Three Lions should win comfortably, even without the likes of Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer. This is why we are tipping England to score at least three goals in front of their own fans, with their previous home match a 5-0 thrashing of the Republic of Ireland. However, Albania proved at Euro 2024 that they are not to be taken lightly, so do not be surprised if the visitors also get on the scoresheet in London.
Romania to beat Bosnia & Herzegovina @ 1.80
Romania were a surprise package at Euro 2024, qualifying for the Round of 16 where they were eventually eliminated by the Netherlands. Since then, the Romanians have won five Nations League matches on the bounce, scoring 15 goals and conceding only three. In contrast, Bosnia & Herzegovina failed to win any of their six games in League A and were beaten 7-0 by Germany on Matchday 5. As such, we cannot see them leaving Bucharest with a positive result.
Robert Lewandowski to score 2 or more goals for Poland vs Lithuania @ 2.65
When it comes to any Poland match, betting on Lewandowski to score is usually a safe move. The Barcelona striker has netted 84 times for his country and has been on fire at club level this season, tallying 35 goals in 40 matches across all competitions. Against a Lithuania side ranked 142nd in the world by FIFA, Lewandowski could have a field day. If you are interested, the veteran forward to score a hat-trick on home soil is priced at 6.75. In case you were wondering, he has already scored six international trebles!
Norway to score over 2.5 goals vs Moldova @ 2.20
It is something of a surprise that Norway have not reached a major international tournament in recent years. With the likes of Erling Haaland, Martin Odegaard, Antonio Nusa and Alexander Sorloth in the ranks, the Scandinavian side should be competing to sit at the table among Europe’s best. Their latest World Cup qualification campaign begins in Moldova and we expect the Norwegians to cruise to victory, emulating their previous away performance – a 4-1 triumph in Slovenia. That was followed by a 5-0 home win over Kazakhstan, so scoring goals has certainly not been a problem of late.
