Facing an English team in a final brings back bad memories for PSG, who were the unfortunate runners-up in the last FIFA Club World Cup final against Chelsea, losing 3-0 in what was something of a shock result.
As such, PSG, who have signed young French international goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, have only just begun their summer preparations, so it is therefore difficult to predict the players’ form before they face yet another Premier League side.
