Trabzonspor vs Galatasaray Preview
Last season’s runners-up Galatasaray reached this stage in impressive fashion, thrashing Konyaspor 5-1 in a very one-sided semi-final clash.
Trabzonspor, who sit eighth in the Super Lig, enjoyed a relatively comfortable path to the final too, defeating Goztepe 2-0 in the final four.
Ironically, these two sides actually met in the top flight over the weekend and it was Gala who secured a 2-0 away victory.
Star striker Victor Osimhen was surprisingly not on the scoresheet, but he will be the primary focus of Trabzonspor’s defensive preparatory work on the training pitch.
The Nigerian forward has netted 33 goals in 38 games across all competitions this season, with three of those strikes coming on this stage.
If Osimhen gets into his stride in the final, it is hard to see how Trabzonspor can stop him, especially as he has such a stellar supporting cast – hence why Gala have lost just once in the Super Lig in 2024-25.
But Trabzonspor have their own striker to be feared in Simon Banza, who has racked up 19 goals in the top flight and a further three in the Turkish Cup.
What a final we have in prospect!
Trabzonspor vs Galatasaray Odds
*All odds are subject to change

Trabzonspor vs Galatasaray Betting Tips
Galatasaray to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.60
Even though cup finals can be slightly nervy affairs with goals occasionally at a premium, we feel this is a pretty safe bet. With Osimhen and Alvaro Morata as options up front, Gala have had no issues with regard to scoring goals. In fact, the Istanbul-based club have netted over 1.5 times in 10 of the last 11 matches across all competitions.
Galatasaray to win the first half @ 2.10
While Gala had to wait until the second half to claim the league win at Trabzonspor, we fancy things to be a little different this time around. Eight points clear of Fenerbahce at the top of the Super Lig with just three games remaining, Gala can play with the handbrake off here and look to dismantle Trabzonspor before the half-time whistle is blown.
Galatasaray to be winning at half-time and full-time @ 2.50
And if you agree with our above tip, this selection looks ideal for increasing the odds on a victory for Gala.
