Westerlo to beat Leuven @ 2.75

Friday night’s encounter is a hard match to call in truth, with these teams amassing just one win between them over the last three matchdays. That victory was secured by Westerlo, who beat Dender 4-2 on home soil. In stark contrast, Leuven were thrashed 5-0 by Dender last weekend, so confidence levels in their camp must be extremely low. This is why we are tipping Westerlo to pick up another crucial win and move five points clear of Leuven with just one match left to play.

Union Saint-Gilloise to beat Royal Antwerp and under 2.5 goals scored @ 4.25

USG’s run in the play-offs really is something to be admired. The table-toppers are yet to lose in the Championship Round and as a result, they have the title within their sights. And in recent weeks, USG have not required a plethora of goals to pick up positive results. In fact, the side from Brussels boast three 1-0 victories in the last four matches, with the other result in that run a 0-0 with Club Brugge. As such, there is value to be had in backing a low-scoring win for the leaders in Antwerp.

Charleroi to beat Mechelen @ 2.90

Runaway Europa Conference League Qualification Group leaders Charleroi are looking to make it four consecutive play-off wins when they visit Mechelen. Charleroi have actually won four of the last five in the Pro League, a run which started with an excellent 3-0 home victory over Mechelen. So you can see why we are backing Charleroi to get the job done on Matchday 9, especially at such great odds!

Gent vs Genk: Draw @ 3.85

The less said about Genk’s performances in the Championship Round, the better. After entering the play-offs top of the tree, Thorsten Fink’s side have lost four of the last five and sit nine points behind USG, meaning their title charge is officially over. With a place in the Europa League qualifiers already secured, Genk have little to play for, which should play into the hands of Gent. Sunday’s hosts are on an equally dreadful run of five consecutive defeats, but we are taking a risk and backing them to pick up a first point since April 13.
