After a thrilling week of European football, the Jupiler Pro League returns!

Club Brugge, Anderlecht and Union Saint-Gilloise were all on duty in their respective competitions, with the knockout rounds on the horizon.

The action in the Pro League is heating up as well and Matchday 23 promises all the drama we have become so accustomed to this season.

Antwerp to beat STVV @ 2.45

The Friday night fixture sees fifth-placed Antwerp travel to out-of-sorts STVV.

Antwerp are unbeaten in five Pro League matches and defeated Westerlo 3-2 in their last outing, while hosts STVV have lost three of their last five games.

So while the odds are pretty close, we fancy the visitors to get the job done and maintain their path to the Championship Play-Offs.

Back in August, Antwerp won the reverse fixture 6-1, which remains their biggest win in the Pro League this term.

Cercle Brugge to beat Charleroi @ 3.80

Cercle Brugge are certainly a team on the rise in the Pro League.

A few weeks ago, they looked destined for the Relegation Round, but three wins in the last four has propelled them up to 12th in the table with a four-point gap to the bottom four.

Such an impressive run of form should give the team confidence for their visit to 8th-placed Charleroi, who were held to a 1-1 draw at Gent on Matchday 22.

Underdog victories are certainly not uncommon in the Belgian top-flight – and another could be on the cards here!

Genk to beat Westerlo @ 2.15

Westerlo’s season has been a tale of two halves. They started like a train and sat on top of the pile for a short time, but that is now a distant memory.

Ahead of the visit from league leaders Genk on Saturday, Westerlo are seven without a win in the Pro League, registering only two points in that woeful run.

So all signs point to a comfortable win for the title favourites, who are fresh from a 2-1 victory at Mechelen.

And with Pro League top scorer Tolu Arokodare (13 goals) in sparkling form for Genk, Westerlo’s bid to avoid the Relegation Round may be put on hold for at least another week.

Club Brugge to beat Kortrijk @ 1.21

This should be another fairly routine victory for the reigning champions.

Club Brugge extended their unbeaten run across all competitions to 19 games on Tuesday night with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Juventus in the Champions League.

Nicky Hayen’s side are just a point behind Genk in the title race, so will need no encouragement to go full throttle at home to 15th-placed Kortrijk.

The relegation candidates are on a run of three successive defeats and will likely be brushed aside by a Club Brugge team which leads the Pro League scoring charts with 51 goals.
