Jupiler Pro League 2025/26: Matchday 7 Tips

The first international break of 2025/26 is now over. So the Jupiler Pro League campaign resumes this weekend with the 7th matchday of the season.

The standings are starting to take shape. And as per usual, this round promises to be intense, with several key matches affecting both the top and bottom of the table.

Standard Liege will look to bounce back after mixed results, while Mechelen will try to confirm their recent good form.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht and RC Genk need to take points to avoid falling further behind, and Club Brugge must stay sharp between the ears in order to maintain contact with the league leaders.

These matches will also be crucial for teams fighting against relegation, such as Dender and La Louviere.

Check out our predictions for some of these fixtures on matchday 7 of the Pro League, as well as the bet on football odds on our sports online betting site. With the Cash Card, you can also play online via our new app and make deposits at a retail location.

Jupiler Pro League 25/26: Our Predictions for Matchday 7

*All odds are subject to change

Draw between Standard Liege and Mechelen @ 3.40

Standard and Mechelen find themselves in a balanced situation. Standard are struggling to find consistency at home, while Mechelen have shown signs of solidity on the road, currently even sitting in second place. A draw is therefore a very likely outcome, with both teams aiming not to concede too early on in the game.

Union Saint-Gilloise to beat Dender @ 1.50

Union Saint-Gilloise, the league leaders, are the clear favourites against Dender, who have yet to win a match and already see their survival chances seriously threatened. The arrival of new coach Hayk Milkon could spark a reaction from Dender, but their opponents seem far too strong. With an efficient attack and solid defence, Union SG could quickly take control of the game and secure all three points, possibly as early as the first half.

La Louviere vs Club Brugge: Both Teams to Score – No @ 1.98

La Louviere, currently 15th in the Pro League with a total record of 1 win, 1 draw, and 4 losses, will face Club Brugge this weekend, who are 4th in the standings. Club Brugge need points on the board to avoid letting the teams ahead pull away from them. So on Matchday 7, Nicky Hayen’s side will need to be ruthless offensively, but also defensively. This makes it unlikely that both teams will score in the contest.

Anderlecht vs RC Genk: Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.75

Anderlecht and Genk are two attacking teams capable of producing goal-filled matches. Despite Kasper Dolberg’s departure to Ajax and Adriano Bertaccini’s injury for Anderlecht, this fixture could still offer plenty of chances and goals, justifying a bet on over 2.5 of them to be scored. Previous encounters between these two clubs have often been spectacular and high-scoring.
