The qualifiers for the next World Cup continue, with France hosting Iceland this Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.

France were coming off a setback in the Nations League, after losing their semi-final against Spain, and needed to bounce back.
Last Friday against Ukraine, a theoretically weaker opponent, Didier Deschamps’ men got the job done with a 2-0 victory. The forwards delivered, with Kylian Mbappé and Michael Olise both scoring.
Against Iceland, however, Les Bleus will have to do without PSG duo Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé, who picked up injuries in the match against Ukraine. But France are blessed with depth, with several options available to replace them, including Bradley Barcola, Hugo Ekitike, and Marcus Thuram.
Iceland, meanwhile, have lost some of their shine. They failed to qualify for the last World Cup in Qatar and have only managed two wins in their last ten games.
However, in their opening group stage match, Iceland cruised to a 5-0 win over Azerbaijan, highlighted by a brace from Cologne midfielder Isak Johannesson.
