Malmö FF vs FC Copenhagen: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.45
Both teams are in excellent form. Malmö are riding a seven-game winning streak across all competitions, including four Champions League victories. Copenhagen, meanwhile, have started their new domestic campaign with five wins from five. In their last three games, Malmö have scored 8 goals (average of 2.6 per game), while Copenhagen have netted 5 (average of 1.6). Predicting over 2.5 goals here seems like a smart bet.
Draw between Rangers and Viktoria Plzen @ 3.75
Rangers welcome the Czech league’s second-best team to Ibrox on Tuesday night. Although the Scottish side edged past Panathinaikos in the previous round (1-1, 2-0 in the first leg), they had to fight hard to earn qualification. Despite some struggles, Djeidi Gassama and his teammates showed resilience. Viktoria Plzen, coming off a dramatic win over Servette Geneva in a thrilling second leg, won’t go down without a fight. A draw looks like a very plausible outcome.
Draw between RB Salzburg and Club Brugge @ 3.75
This matchup features two sides well accustomed to the Champions League stage, making it difficult to pick a winner. Salzburg cruised past Brann in the previous round but opened their domestic campaign with a disappointing draw against Ried. Brugge, on the other hand, had an impressive UCL campaign last season, reaching the Round of 16 after knocking out Atalanta, only to be eliminated by Aston Villa. However, they’ve lost several key players over the summer and recently suffered a 2-1 defeat to Mechelen in the Belgian league. Both teams will be eager to respond.
Nice vs Benfica: Anytime Goalscorer – Vangelis Pavlidis @ 2.75
One of the most exciting ties of this round sees OGC Nice host Benfica on Wednesday. The French side will be hoping to build on their successful 2024–2025 campaign and advance to the next stage, but face a battle-hardened European giant. The Portuguese club travel to the Côte d’Azur on a high after winning the Portuguese Super Cup against Sporting CP last Thursday, thanks to a goal from Vangelis Pavlidis. The Greek striker is in red-hot form and could well make the difference again.
Feyenoord to beat Fenerbahçe @ 2.15
The Rotterdam club will be hoping to repeat last season’s impressive run, where they reached the Round of 16 before falling to eventual finalists Inter Milan. Since being appointed head coach in February, Robin van Persie has reshaped his squad over the summer, bringing in Sem Steijn from FC Twente, among others. While Fenerbahçe have bolstered their side with the likes of Jhon Duran and are now led by tactical mastermind José Mourinho, Feyenoord still look like the stronger team heading into this clash.
