It is nearly time for the 2024-25 Europa Conference League final between Real Betis and Chelsea.
The two sides meet in Wroclaw, Poland, tomorrow evening and it promises to be a fantastic match.
Chelsea are, of course, the huge favourites for the win, but write off Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis at your own peril.

Real Betis vs Chelsea Preview
Chelsea’s passage to the final has been relatively easy, with Enzo Maresca’s side beating Copenhagen, Legia Warsaw and Djurgarden in the knockout rounds.
The going has been a little tougher for Betis, as they needed an extra-time strike in Florence to beat Fiorentina 4-3 on aggregate in the semis.
Prior to that, the La Liga outfit defeated Jagiellonia Bialystok, Vitoria and Gent in the knockout stages of this exciting competition.
But Chelsea will take comfort from the fact that while Betis finished sixth in the Spanish top flight, they ended the 2024-25 campaign poorly.
In fact, Pellegrini’s side failed to win any of their last four matches, suffering a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid on Matchday 37.
Chelsea ended the Premier League season in superb fashion, with the West Londoners winning four of the last five.
Maresca’s men beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 on the final day of the term to secure Champions League football for 2025-26.
So the dressing room should be full of confidence ahead of the Europa Conference League final and with stars like Cole Palmer, the Blues should have what it takes to claim the win.
But in any major European final, surprise results can never be ruled out.

Betis are the big underdogs to win the match in 90 minutes at odds of 4.70. A Chelsea victory here is priced at just 1.95, while the draw is 3.70.

We briefly mentioned Palmer above – and we really fancy the England star to have a major say in this final. It has been a tough few months for the mercurial forward but he has never shied away from responsibility. Palmer is also Chelsea’s designated penalty taker, which only serves to make this selection even more appealing.
Cedric Bakambu to score anytime @ 5.00
In La Liga, Bakambu has really struggled for Betis, scoring just two goals in 25 appearances. But in the Conference League, he has registered seven strikes in 13 matches, a very impressive record. Can he deliver again in Wroclaw?
Winner 2nd half – Chelsea @ 2.10
