Barcelona to beat Benfica @ 2.00
After losing their first Champions League match to AS Monaco, Barcelona have been virtually unstoppable in the competition.
Winning the last five on the bounce, including a memorable 4-1 win over Bayern Munich, Hansi Flick’s side are a force to be reckoned with.
And while La Liga form has been poor of late, Benfica should pose minimal threat to Barca’s winning run in Europe.
The Portuguese side are in the mix for the play-offs, so won’t make it easy. But Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and co should have far too much firepower in Lisbon.
Manchester City to beat Paris Saint-Germain @ 2.60
Arguably the standout match of the round, with both sides fighting for their Champions League lives.
PSG are 25th and outside the play-offs, so need to achieve victory against a City side in 22nd and lingering far too close to the elimination spots.
It has all the makings of a European classic at the Parc des Princes, but PSG will be well aware that City have rediscovered their mojo somewhat.
Entering the match on the back of a 6-0 win at Ipswich, Pep Guardiola’s side can reignite the quest for a second Champions League title.
Inter Milan to beat Sparta Prague @ 1.41
This should be a fairly routine win for one of the strongest sides in the competition.
Inter are sixth in the table with four wins, one draw and a loss, conceding only a single goal in those six matches.
And while it is never easy to travel to Sparta Prague’s hostile atmosphere, Simone Inzaghi’s side are a daunting prospect for even the best teams.
Of course, upsets can never be ruled out, but we would be shocked if the Czech outfit were able to avoid a fifth defeat of the campaign.
AC Milan to beat Girona @ 1.45
It could (and should) be a good midweek for the Milan clubs.
The Rossoneri are beginning to show signs of promise under new manager Sergio Conceicao, although they did lose 2-0 at Juventus on the weekend.
But a home match against an inconsistent Girona side presents the perfect opportunity to bounce back in style.
Girona have lost five of six Champions League matches and are eighth in La Liga, with clear evidence that they are not the same side which took the footballing world by storm last season.
