Ligue 1 2025/26: Our Predictions for Matchday 10
*All odds are subject to change
Nice vs Lille: Both Teams to Score @ 1.60
While OGC Nice are enduring a nightmare in the Europa League, their domestic form has been solid. Currently 8th in Ligue 1 and just four points off the podium, Franck Haise’s men are coming off two straight wins against direct rivals (Lyon and Rennes), scoring five goals in the process. LOSC are also full of confidence after their emphatic 6–1 victory over Metz, and could climb into the top three with another win. Matches between these two sides are often goal-filled, and this encounter should be no exception.
Marseille vs Angers: Mason Greenwood to Score 2+ Goals @ 5.50
Olympique Marseille have just suffered two consecutive defeats — first to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, then to Lens in Ligue 1 — and must bounce back quickly. Despite this poor run, Mason Greenwood continues to shine. After scoring against Lens and netting a four-goal haul against Le Havre, he already has seven goals in Ligue 1. OM have the chance to reclaim the top spot against an Angers side hovering near the relegation zone, and Greenwood could once again boost his goal tally.
Paris FC vs Lyon: Draw @ 3.55
Currently 11th in Ligue 1, Paris FC need points to distance themselves from the lower end of the table. Maxime Lopez’s squad have struggled since returning from the international break, losing away to Lens (2–1) and then being upset at home by Nantes (1–2). Lyon, on the other hand, found their rhythm again in dramatic fashion, beating Strasbourg 2–1 with a stoppage-time goal last Sunday. It was a much-needed victory for the Rhone side after frustrating defeats to Toulouse (1–2) and Nice (3–2). Now sitting fourth, just two points behind PSG, Lyon will be favourites — but Paris FC could still manage to hold them to a draw in front of their home fans.
Rennes to Beat Toulouse @ 3.35
Rennes are on the brink of crisis. The Red and Blacks currently sit 10th in Ligue 1 with just 11 points, and have drawn four of their last five matches. Head coach Habib Beye narrowly avoided dismissal after the 2–1 loss to Nice and has been given one final chance against Toulouse. These turbulent days have shaken the Rennes squad, but such pressure could spark a reaction. So we expect Rennes to respond with pride and possibly snatch a win here to save their manager’s job. Toulouse may be 9th an one of the league’s more entertaining teams — but Seko Fofana and his teammates will face a determined opponent at the Stadium de Toulouse.
